Systemic disease affecting the response to periodontal treatment
Patients with mild to moderate chronic periodontitis
Chronic periodontitis patients who require periodic (non-surgical) periodontal treatment in four quadrants with homologous and control teeth.
Use of drugs affecting the response to periodontal treatment in the last 1 month
Receiving periodontal treatments that include removal of subgingival mass in the last 1 month
The presence of caries and retentive plaque repairs
Occurrence of change in pulp and periapical condition during the study
Undergoing orthodontic treatment
Smoking and tobacco use
