Inclusion Criteria

1.curative lung resection for NSCLC
2.primary tumor size of = 2cm
3.no sign of lymph node or distant metastasis prior to surgery
4.patients who underwent lung resection (wedge or anatomic) at the department for thoracic surgery at the Medical Center University of Freiburg between 03/2003 - 03/2023
5.age =18 years at the time of lung resection (see inclusion criterion #4)

The secondary endpoints are disease free survival, incidence of N+, incidence of N+ depending on the extent of surgery (sublobar vs. lobar resection), impact of incidental N+ on OS depending on the extent of surgery.
