Inclusion Criteria

(1) meeting the diagnosis and classification of spastic hemiplegia in the China Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation Guidelines (2022) issued by the Children's Rehabilitation Committee of the Chinese Rehabilitation Medical Association, the Children's Cerebral palsy Rehabilitation Committee of the China Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Association, and the Children's Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Rehabilitation Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; <br>(2) graded at or above level III by the Mini-MACS for Children with cerebral palsy that can independently operate the items that easily executed in a short period of time; <br>(3) both hands have gross grip ability that the upper limbs lift 15 cm from the table, wrist dorsiflexion >20°, motion range of both palms and knuckles >10°; <br>(4) the parents or guardians signed the informed consent forms, and they could cooperate with evaluation and interventions in hospital, understand and execute the home exercise program.

Exclusion Criteria

(1) joint and muscle fixed contracture or malformation; <br>(2) uncontrolled epileptic seizure;<br>(3) the affected upper limb had received botulinum toxin A injection within the past 6 months, or was scheduled to receive botulinum toxin A injection during the study period; <br>(4) the affected upper limb had previously received orthopedic surgery; <br>(5) the children had received prior acupuncture treatment; <br>(6) the child had visual or hearing or cognitive impairments that could affect the interventions and assessments for the rehabilitation.
