All patients with a clinical diagnosis of bronchial asthma.
Smoking history more than 10 pack years
Haemoptysis of unknown origin
Pneumothorax; or â??recentâ?? myocardial infarction or pulmonary embolus;
Thoracic, abdominal or cerebral aneurysms
â??Recentâ?? eye surgery
Presence of any other acute illness interfering with test performance such as nausea, vomiting etc.
Recent thoracic or abdominal surgery.
Pregnant ladies and breast feeding mothers
â??Recentâ?? refers to within 4 weeks of conducted study.
