Men older than 60 years; diagnosed with ischemic stroke; with up to 24 hours of stroke; without previous disability (Modified Rankin Scale less than 1) and who agree to participate of the study.
Patients with hemodynamic instability; in mechanical ventilation / ICU; use of pacemaker and metal prostheses; with previous renal disease; with creatinine clearance less than 30ml / min / 1.73m²; using alternative route for feeding (nasoenteral tube / gastrostomy / parenteral nutrition); patients with allergy or intolerance to any component of the study products and those who do not agree to participate.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Functional capacity assessed by six-minute walk test, Timed Up and Go test and modified Rankin Scale 90 days after stroke.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Quality of life assessed by The European 5D Quality of life Scale - EuroQol-5D 90 days after stroke.;Muscle degeneration assessed by the D3-methylhistidine marker after 7 days of intervention with creatine supplementation.
