Inclusion Criteria
At least one of the following criteria:
- Clinical sign(s) of infection, e.g. fever (calor), redness (rubor), impaired organ function (functio laesa)
- Paraclinical signs of infection: CRP = 15mg/l and/or leukocytes outside the age-appropriate norm
- Planned antiinfective therapy
- Microbiological/virological infection diagnostics
Exclusion Criteria
- Presence of medical reasons that speak against the withdrawal of blood volume
- Imprisonment
- Person with unclear or invalid insurance status

Name Time Method Sensitivity and specificity of high-dimensional flow cytometric analysis of circulating immune cells for the differentiation of viral, bacterial, parasitic and/or mycotic infectious agents (incl. co-infections) in comparison to established methods (diagnostic gold standard and established clinical scores plus extended diagnostic procedures).
