Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1 Patients of Posterior Polar Cataract presenting to our centre with impaired visual acuity or with cataract related symptoms.
  • 2 Pupillary dilatation of 6mm or more pharmacologically.
  • 3 Nuclear Sclerosis up to Grade II along with Posterior Polar Cataract.
  • 4 The eligible patients who opt for Femtosecond laser assisted Cataract Surgery.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1 The patients of posterior polar cataract not willing to go for Femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery.
  • 2 Dense, hard cataracts obscuring clinical examination of the posterior capsule of lens.
  • 3 Dilated Pupil Size less than 6mm.
  • 4 Any pre\-existing corneal pathology
  • 5 Post ocular trauma
  • 6 Patients with severe systemic disorders
  • 7 Patients who get inadvertent or iatrogenic PCR unrelated to posterior polar cataract
