This study aims to compare the diagnostic accuracy of an artificial intelligence (AI)-based chatbot with that of an experienced endodontist in interpreting dental radiographs and formulating treatment plans. The AI system will analyze clinical findings and radiographic images to provide pulpal and periapical diagnoses along with recommended treatment options. These results will be compared with the diagnoses and treatment plans provided by a specialist endodontist. The level of agreement between the AI chatbot and the endodontist will be evaluated to determine the reliability and potential clinical applicability of AI-assisted diagnostic support in endodontic practice.

  • Patients presenting with symptomatic or asymptomatic carious lesions requiring diagnostic evaluation.
  • Teeth with complete diagnostic data (history, tests, radiographs).

排除标准

  • Incomplete case details or poor-quality radiographs.
  • Incomplete or missing case data (absent history, missing sensibility test results, or low-quality/obscured radiographs).
  • Poor quality radiographs (over/underexposed, angulation errors) that hinder interpretation.
  • Non-consent for use of anonymized clinical data in research or inability to obtain ethical consent.
