Clinical effect of vitamin D or vitamin E therapy on osteoarthritis of the knee joint - effect of V.D or V.E therapy on OA

Results of our analysis showed that the combined intervention of lower extremity muscle exercise and vitamin D or E supplementation were significantly more beneficial to pain, physical function than muscle strength exercise alone.In contrast,vitamin supplementation combine with muscle exercise does not appear to have additive effect on QMS or walking ability in patients with symptomatic knee OA. At the end of the study, mean HGP value increased significantly in EX+VD(P=0.0015) than the other groups.
