Inclusion Criteria
Patients of ASA I II II of either sex of age between 18 to 65 years undergoing elective surgeries under general anesthesia using endotracheal intubation will be included in the study
Exclusion Criteria
Patient’s refusal, surgeries of the oral cavity and pharynx, Patients with anticipated difficult airway (mallampati class >3), previous throat pain or hoarseness history, history of local anaesthetic allergy and more than two attempts recquired for intubation will be excluded from study
