1.Patients presenting with the classical signs and symptoms of Sandhigatavata (OA), viz. Shula, Shotha, Stambha, Sparsha-asahyata, Sphutana, Akunchana Prasarane vedana etc., will be taken for the study.
1.Patients suffering from Amvata,Vatarakt.
2.Patients suffering from uncontrolled diabetes (those who have HBA1c above 7.5), Psoriatic arthritis, Gouty arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Bone TB and other major systemic disorders will be excluded.
3.Patients of osteoarthritis already operated for joint replacement.
4.Pregnant and lactating women will be excluded.
5.Patients who have taken corticosteroid within last 6 months.
