Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients fulfilling the diagnostic criteria.
2.Patients will be selected between 18 to 60 years of age irrelevant of gender.
3.Patients of ulcerative colitis with S1 to S3 severity.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patient with complications i.e., anal fistula, colonic perforation, cancer.
2.Severe anaemia (haemoglobin < 6gm %)
3.Patients in remission period.
4.Severe systemic illness like, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (HbA1C >7.5), AIDS, hepatitis, cancer, tuberculosis, uncontrolled hypertension etc.
5.Patients, contraindicated for basti.

Name Time Method Primary outcome will be relief in sign , symptoms and assessment will be done with the help of changes in gradation of the signs , symptoms, BLOOD IN STOOL, FREQUENCY OF STOOL , ABDOMINAL PAIN , WEAKNESSTimepoint: Baseline after IPD (4 weeks) and every 15 days on OPD Basis for 2 times.
