1.Patients who fulfill any three of the symptoms and any one of the signs mentioned in the diagnostic criteria.
2.Patients of age between 18 to 60 years and of both the gender.
3.Vamana karma and virechana karma yogya person as per Ayurvedic classics.
Diagnostic criteria
Presence of the below mentioned symptoms:
1.Loss of perspiration(Asvedanaá¹?)
2.Scaling (Dalana)
3.Itching(Kandu)
4.Dryness (Ruksata)
5.Discoloration (Krusna arun varna / Abhrakaptrasama)
6.Extent of lesion (Mahavastu).
Presence of any one of the following signs:
i.e., Auspitz sign
Koebnerâ??s phenomenon
Candle grease sign
1.Pregnant or lactating females.
2.Patients who have taken medicine of corticosteroid drugs or immune- suppressants or other biological medicines within last 6 months.
3.Known case of diseases like DM, AIDS, STD, TB, heart diseases and other disorders which lead to fetal condition for the patients.
4.Other concomitant skin disease occurring with allergic reaction of any other disease.
