1.patients giving informed consent

2.with type A1 and A2 fractures

3.age >60 yrs

Exclusion Criteria

1.patients not giving informed consent

2.unstable type A3 and A4 fractures

3.pathological fractures

4.fractures associated with head injury and major spinal injury

5.younger than 60 yrs of age
