CLINICALLY:
1.Carious primary molar teeth with deep dentinal caries( ICDAS II CRITERIA â?? score 5 and 6)
2.Pain /discomfort on having cold, sour or sweet food lasting for a few seconds and disappears when
the stimulus is removed
RADIOGRAPHICALLY:
1.Carious lesion involving enamel and considerable portion of dentin
2.Absence of furcal/periradicular pathology
3. Normal PDL space and intact lamina dura
1.Spontaneous pain that persists after removal of the stimulus
2.Presence of swelling, redness and draining sinus tract
3.Tenderness on percussion
4.Abnormal tooth mobility
5.Presence of chronic systemic diseases
