Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Women with singleton pregnancy after 28weeks of gestation with confirmed Intrahepatic Cholestatsis of Pregnancy
  • •Intrahepatic Cholestatis of Pregnancy defined as Pruritis in pregnancy with other causes excluded and increased ALT ( >30IU/L) and serum Bile acid > upper limit of normal

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Pregnant women <18 years age
  • •Laboratory confirmed Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Cytomegalovirus, EB virus
  • •Preeclampsia
  • •Acute Fatty Liver of pregnancy
  • •Primary hepatic disorders
  • •known case of Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency
  • •Currently on drugs causing deranged liver enzymes
  • •Lethal fetal anomaly
