Inclusion Criteria

Inclusion criteria for GPs:
-consent for study participation
-In-group practices, both doctors belong to the same study group (ie either intervention or observation only group).

Inclusion criteria for patients
-Patient is 18 years or older
-all patients who come to the day selected at time T0 and T1 in the practice.

Exclusion Criteria

Exclusion criteria for patients:
-missing or subsequently revoked consent
-insufficient German language skills in speaking and writing
-a clinical situation that does not allow questioning the patient (eg dementia)
-Patients who are first time in this practice
-Patients who take no personal contact with a doctor in the form of a consultation the doctor's office (for example, only pick up recipe)
-At the time T1: patients who were interviewed at the time T0.

Primary Outcome Measures

Achieved communication quality measured with the Four Habits Coding Scheme (4HCS)<br><br>Results are determined by the recorded videos of the doctor-patient interviews will be evaluated by trained raters. This measurement takes place once during the physician-patient contact (time point video evaluation).
Secondary Outcome Measures

I) patient assessment of the general practitioner empathy, as measured with the German translation of the CARE scale.<br><br>II) patient assessment of trust in the physician, measured with the German translation of the trust in physician scale (TPS or trust in the physician, VIA)<br><br>Patient questionnaire: The measurements I and II take place once for each patient via dispended questionnaire after the doctor-patient contact.<br><br>III) Job satisfaction of the general practitioner will be measured with a single item of Ommen et al. 2009.<br><br>Physician questionnaire: Measurement III is conducted twice for each physician, even before the first doctor-patient contact and again after all the recordings were made??.
