Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients of both sexes who were intubated and mechanically ventilated for a minimum period of 24 hours and deemed ready for extubation were included in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Intubated for upper airway obstructioN, Upper airway malignancy, Previous tracheostomy, Neck radiotherapy and Vocal cord paralysis
