- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To calculate the energy requirements in ischemic stroke patients with the help of indirect calorimetry (IC)

To compare the patient outcome, based on nutritional supplementation by indirect calorimetry versus the standard single weight-based energy targeted formulaTimepoint: The energy requirement will be calculated till the patient is at ICU and receiving enteral nutrition.

The outcome of the patient will be calculated at the time of discharge from ICU.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To assess the length of mechanical ventilation, duration of ICU and hospital stay, ICU mortality, and infectious complicationsTimepoint: At the time of discharge from ICU/hospital
