Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. All patients with patchy hair loss diagnosed as alopecia areata either clinically or following biopsy irrespective of age and sex.
  • •2\. All patients of alopecia areata not systemically treated with corticosteroid or immunosuppressants.
  • •1\. Age and sex matched individuals without alopecia areta.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients not consenting to participate in the study.
  • •2\. Patients who have received any topical or systemic treatment during the last two months will be excluded.
  • •3\.All Known cases of inflammatory diseases or autoimmune diseases will be ruled out.
