Inclusion Criteria
Children in the age group 2 - 10 years undergoing elective surgeries under general anaesthesia requiring orotracheal intubation
Exclusion Criteria
Predicted / anticipated difficult airway
Predicted / anticipated hyper reactive airway
Intubation by means other than direct laryngoscopy

Name Time Method FOB evaluation for position of the tip of tracheal tube in relation to carina at the end of intubation with head in neutral position, extension, flexion respectively <br/ ><br> To compare clinical method for determining the appropriate depth of tracheal tube insertion Versus Cole formula and the formula determined by ID of the tracheal tube <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Three minutes following tracheal intubation, all the measurements will be taken with first the head in neutral, then in extension and finally in flexion position, respectively.
