Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All patients admitted to ICU above 18 years of age.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Elective surgical patients
- •icu stay less than 24 hrs
- •patients already having invasive bacterial infections ( c/s\-\+ve).
- •Re\- admission to ICU.
- •Patients in whom admission surveillance cultures are not obtained or are obtained outside the specified time window of 24 hours
