入选标准
- •I.Systemically healthy individuals
- •II.Atleast 4 teeth with one or more sites exhibiting probing depth = 4mm, CAL & bleeding on probing
- •III.Presence of atleast 20 natural teeth
排除标准
- •I.Pregnancy & Lactation
- •II.A history of taking antibiotics, anti inflammatory medication or using anti-bacterial mouth rinses for past 3 months
- •III.Subjects who are on antioxidant supplements
- •IV.Decompensated systemic disease
- •V.Degenerative bone disease
- •VI.Chronic immune-based mucomembranous disorders (e.g., lichen planus, pemphigoid, pemphigus, and systemic lupus erythematosus)
- •VII.Chemotherapy or radiotherapy to the head and neck area
- •VIII.Presence of teeth with periodontitis adjacent to sites affected by peri-implantitis
- •IX.Smoking, drug or alcohol abuse
- •X.Allergy to photosensitizer
