Inclusion Criteria
patients of known case of diabetes mellitus uncontrolled on metformin monotherapy
Exclusion Criteria
1)Patients with co-morbidities like renal disease, HTN, CVS disease, liver disease.
2)Patient on multiple drug therapy for any chronic illness and any other conditions.
3)Pregnant and lactating women.
4)Drug addicted patients.
5) Not willing to give consent

Name Time Method 1.To compare the Efficacy of Metformin with Teneligliptin versus Metformin with Glimepiride Combination in T2DM. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>2.To compare the ADR profile of Metformin with Teneligliptin versus Metformin with Glimepiride combination in T2DM <br/ ><br>Timepoint: each patient will be followed up for 6 month . <br/ ><br>
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1.To co-relate the appearance of ADRs with various risk factors such as obesity, sex, region, marital status etc. in both groups. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>2.To assess the cost effectiveness of the relatively newer anti-diabetic drug combination Metformin with Teneligliptin as well as the popular combination of Metformin with Glimepiride. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: each patient will be followed up for 6 month .
