Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Subjects with unilateral knee OA, fulfilling ACR diagnostic criteria.
- •It is as follows: knee pain along with three of following six items\- Age \>50 years old, morning stiffness \<30 minutes, crepitus on knee motion, bony tenderness, bony enlargement, no palpable warmth.
- •2\. Age group: 40\-60 years.
- •3\. Most painful activity: \<5cms on VAS
- •4\. Subjects with normal BMI i.e. 18\.5\-24\.9 kg/m2
- •5\. Both genders.
- •6\. Ability to follow instructions.
- •7\. Ability to ambulate independently.
- •8\. Subjects with low to moderate joint reactivity.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Subjects with bilateral knee OA.
- •2\. High tissue reactivity and irritability.
- •3\. Rheumatoid arthritis/ Systemic Lupus Erythematosus/ inflammatory arthritis/ polyarthralgia.
- •4\. Use of assistive ambulatory device.
- •5\. Subjects having any lower extremity and spine pathology other than knee OA.
- •6\. Any other surgical or medical condition that seriously limits subjectâ??s functional ability.
- •7\. Subjects having any psychological/cognitive disorder.
- •8\. Change in pain medication in the previous month.
