normal hearing

Exclusion Criteria

Duration of residency at home < 1year; medication which influences research parameters; every other condition which, according to the medical doctors involved, makes someone unsuited for participating in the study; high background noise at home which could mask the noise of a single aircraft

Primary Outcome Measures

Correlation between noise and sleep of the children during the night: <br>Sound and polysomnography are recorded time synchronized for 4 consecutive nights. The aim is to look for a correlation between single noise events and awakenings or changes in sleep stage.
Secondary Outcome Measures

Questionnaire and computer test each morning following a measuring night: The questionnaires (subjective sleep quality) and the computer tests for cognitive performance (reaktion time an distractibility) are compared to polysomnographia.
