1) Patients (m/f/d) with a clinical diagnosis of idiopathic Parkinson's syndrome (iPS) according to the currently valid international criteria (Postuma et al. 2015).
- Severity Hoehn & Yahr stage I-IV
- No cognitive impairment in the sense of dementia or similar.
- Age: 18 years and older
- Sufficient knowledge of German
- Ability and willingness to give consent
- Able to remember information, use it to make a decision and communicate decisions through speech
2) Relatives (m/f/d) of patients with IPS
- Interested persons whose relatives are suffering from iPS
- Carers as well as non-caring relatives
- Age: 18 years and older
- Good or sufficiently corrected vision and hearing ability
- Sufficient knowledge of German
1) Patients with IPS
- and with other neurological diseases affecting cognition (e.g., atypical courses of Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, brain tumors, etc.).
- dementia
- Refusal or inability to participate in the study
- Other comprehension and communication difficulties affecting point 6 of the inclusion criteria (e.g. language problems)
2) Relatives of patients with IPS.
- Restrictions of vision, hearing and speech that are not sufficiently corrected
- Insufficient knowledge of German
