Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Pt with healthy lung, no respiratory symptoms, no pre\-existing lung pathologies (Negative CXR)
  • Age: between 18\-60 years old,
  • Body mass index (BMI) \<35 kg/m2
  • ASA I \& II
  • Elective laparoscopic surgeries

Exclusion Criteria

  • Pt with pulmonary, cardiac and neuromuscular diseases.
  • Corresponding surgical history and respiratory tract infection were excluded.
  • Those undergoing conversion from laparoscopic to open surgery
  • Those experiencing critical postoperative complication such as severe subcutaneous emphysema and pneumothorax.
