Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\)Patients being operated for lumbar spine surgeries in prone position
- •2\)American society of anaesthesiologists(ASA) 1 and 2
- •3\) Age 18\-65 years of either sex
- •4\) Duration of surgery 2\-5 hours
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\) Body mass index (BMI) \> 30
- •2\) Patients on steroid supplementation
- •3\) Patients with obstructive or restrictive lung diseases
- •4\)Patients with documented autonomic neuropathy
- •5\)Patients with creatinine \> 1\.5
- •6\)Patients operated for repeat spine surgeries
- •7\) Patients not willing for surgery
