Group 1:
Inclusion Criteria
1.Hypertensive patients on drug therapy for > 1 year.
2.Age > 18 years.
Group 2:
Inclusion Criteria
Patients/persons without hypertension (BP < 120/80 mm Hg and not on antihypertensive therapy) age(±5years) and gender matched to Group I
Age >18 years
Group 1 and 2:
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patients with BCVA worse than 20/40 or IOP >=22mmHg, at initial evaluation.
2.Known patients of glaucoma or with a history of glaucoma therapy (medical, laser, or surgical).
3.Patients with any ophthalmic disorders that preclude RNFL/macular evaluation and visual field testing viz. corneal opacities, dense cataract, retinal diseases (diabetic retinopathy, vascular occlusions, ARMD, degenerations/dystrophies).
4.Patients with chronic kidney disease or any nephropathy.
5.Patients with hypertensive emergencies.
