Patients willing to participate in the study, with due considerations and informed consent.
Patients requiring removal of periodontally uncompromised, identically placed firm mandibular third molars.
Patients requiring removal of isolated mandibular third molars will also be included in the study.
Patients with relative contraindication for extraction will be included after getting appropriate fitness from the respective registered medical professional.
Patients with absolute contraindications for extraction.
Patients with contraindications for amide local anesthetics.
Patients with allergy to specific local anesthetic agents and other contents
of the vials/cartridges.
Patients with history of cardiovascular disease.
Patients unwilling to participate in the trial.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To compare the depth and duration of action of 4% Articaine HCl used with 1:100,000 Epinephrine, with an amalgamated mixture of 2% Lignocaine HCl and 0.5% Bupivacaine HCl used without a vasoconstrictor.Timepoint: 1. During surgical removal of third molar intra-operatively <br/ ><br>2. Reappearance of pain or sensation in lips every half an hour after completion of the surgical procedure on the day of the surgery.
