- Brief Summary
A total of 19 patients were randomly allocated into 2 groups: TENS group (9 ones) and the TENS plus exercise group (10 ones). There were no statistically significant differences in physical characteristics of patients between groups. Both TENS and TENS plus exercise groups showed statistically significant improvement over baseline in terms of pain relief and functional status . On the other hand, our finding did not indicate significant differences between the groups
