Patients undergoing elective thoracic surgery at the Department of Thoracic Surgery and Thoracic Endoscopy at the Ruhrlandklinik.
Exclusion Criteria
- Communication difficulties prohibiting the investigation/ questionnaires

Name Time Method Three months postoperative telephone survey of patients about the current state of health and persisting pain (development of a post-thoracotomy pain syndrome), as well as evaluation of the four preoperatively performed questionnaires.
