入选标准

  • Children with a clinical diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy; aged 4 to 12; both sexes; who are undergoing interdisciplinary treatment at Association of Physically Disabled People of Poços de Caldas (ADEFIP); who are ambulatory at levels I. II. III and IV of the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) (requiring or not aids for walking); levels 2 to 6 of the Functional Mobility Scale, who present a degree of ankle joint mobility compatible with the neutral position; popliteal angle less than 30° in goniometry; Thomas test with hip flexion less than 20°; who agree to the Terms of Assent and Informed Assent; and whose parents or guardians agree to the Free and Informed Consent Form

排除标准

  • Children who are confined to wheelchairs for mobility; who have other health conditions not associated with Cerebral Palsy; who have been diagnosed with epilepsy or who have had a seizure at least 12 months prior to the start of the study; who have a brain tumor; who have a metal implant in the head; neck; chest and upper limbs; who use a hearing aid; who have an indication for surgery to correct orthopedic deformities or who have undergone recent surgery on the musculoskeletal or neurological system in the last 12 months prior to the intervention, who have undergone botulinum toxin injections less than 6 months ago; and who have cognitive alterations or a degree of collaboration incompatible with expected performance will be excluded from the study
