Brief Summary

We observed the correlation of BMD values obtained with the Shimadzu G4 and the GE Prodigy. And the correlation coefficients for the comparisons of these scanners for the participants' BMD values were 0.981-0.959. Mean errors were 0.81%-0.03%. As a result, the correlation coefficients were high. CV values of BMD values measured on the Shimadzu G4 were 1.01% (lumbar spine) and 1.28-1.44% (femoral neck ). We also observed high reproducibility for BMD values measured on the Shimadzu G4.
