Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To compare the first pass success rate of ultrasound guided spinal anaesthesia with and without phantom based training.Timepoint: first pass success rate of ultrasound guided spinal anaesthesia will be assessed while the anesthesiology residents perform the procedure of ultrasound guided spinal anaesthesia after adequate training according to their respective groups
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To assess the number of attempts needed for successful intrathecal spinal needle insertion under ultrasound guidance.Timepoint: The number of attempts needed for successful intrathecal spinal needle insertion under ultrasound guidance will be assessed while the anesthesiology residents perform the procedure of ultrasound guided spinal anaesthesia after adequate training according to their respective groups.
