Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients with maxillary gingival hyperpigmentation
2.Age between 18 and 45 years.
3.Patient with scoring criteria for Dummet Oral Pigmentation (DOP) index >1
Exclusion Criteria
1.Recent periodontal surgery within the last three months
2.Gingival hyperpigmentation linked to many disorders and lesions
3.Plaque and gingivitis indices scores more than 1
•DOP index scores lower than 1 were excluded.
•Smokers
•Pregnant and lactating women
•Patients with medically compromised health
