Age between 60 and 80 years
- Outpatients with a confirmed diagnosis ICD: C00 * - C97 * and D47 * (during or after therapy, chronic diseases)
- able to walk without a walker
- master the German language, spoken and written
- The patient must be physically and psychosocially able to participate in the study (medical assessment)
- MMSE = 24
- dependent on walking aid
- musculoskeletal diseases of the lower extremities (e.g. severe osteoarthritis, dorsiflexion weakness)
- Neurological diseases that affect gait (e.g. Parkinson's, stroke)
- Polyneuropathy of all degrees of severity
- Alcohol or drug addiction
- Clinically significant cardiovascular and / or lung diseases (recent myocardial infarction (<4 weeks), clinically relevant heart failure (NYHA III and IV), uncontrolled cardiac arrhythmias (including AV block III °), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (stage III and IV according to GOLD, exacerbated COPD), peripheral arterial occlusive disease> stage 2a according to Fontaine
- Serious or uncontrollable medical conditions (e.g. diabetes, acute or chronic liver disease, pancreatic or severe kidney disease unrelated to a tumor and acute or uncontrollable infections)
- recent thrombosis / pulmonary embolism
- patients unable to give consent
- did not meet all inclusion criteria
