Inclusion Criteria

The target group of the intervention is stroke patients who are in the chronic phase of the disease. In addition, the independent performance of light physical activities (e.g., walking 10 meters) is a prerequisite for participating in the intervention. If these criteria are met and a smartphone is available or can be operated, participants are given access to and an introduction to the training app, which was developed specifically for the target group by Strokecoach GmbH.

Exclusion Criteria

The target group of the intervention are stroke patients who are in the chronic phase of the disease. Non-stroke affected persons or stroke affected persons in active medical treatment are excluded for participation in the study. In addition, individuals whose physical impairment prevents them from walking 10 meters unsupported are excluded. In the absence of cognitive/motor ability to operate a smartphone independently, there is also no possibility of participation.

Primary Outcome Measures

Name	Time	Method
As an objective check of compliance (training frequency and duration), the usage data of the training app is collected. Here, so-called timestamps - times of use of buttons in the app - are collected for the feedbacks, which are queried after each exercise in the individual training units. The time interval between the feedbacks can be used to check whether the participants have completed the exercises in a realistic time frame or skipped them. This check is intended to ensure that compliance is only analyzed for those participants who have actually completed the training program.
