Inclusion Criteria

1. All new cases of (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth edition [DSM IV]) anorexia nervosa
2. Aged 12 - 18 years inclusive
3. Presenting to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Regional Adolescent Services, or Specialist Eating Disorder Services in the North West Region over a two year period
