Inclusion Criteria
The inclusion criteria for this study were pediatric patients aged one month until eighteen years with hyperphosphatemia and CKD with any underlying diagnosis who were newly diagnosed and undergoing inpatient or outpatient therapy at RSUD Dr Soetomo Surabaya
Exclusion Criteria
Patients who are undergoing dialysis therapy, both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
Patients with blood magnesium levels >2.4 mg/dL
Patients who are known to have allergies to magnesium supplementation
Patients with blood calcium levels > 10 mg/d
