Inclusion Criteria

Patients with schizophrenia treated with atypical antipsychotic drugs
Written consent to study
The patient is able to take medicine

Exclusion Criteria

Organic disease
Existance of other disorders such as mental retardation or cognitive problems
Need to receive electric shock
Allergy to zinc sulfate
Pregnant patients
Dependance and substance use

The effect of Zinc sulfate on the symptoms of Schizophrenia according to the PANSS ( positive and negative and psychopathology symptoms ) questionnaire. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study ( before the intervention ), the second week , the fourth week and the sixth week after starting Zinc sulfate consumption. Method of measurement: Positive and negative and psychopathology symptoms questionnaire.
