Inclusion Criteria
Severe sepsis or septic shock as defined by The Surviving Sepsis Campaign (SSC) guidelines 2020.
Exclusion Criteria
- Severe immunodeficiency patients (congenital or acquired).
- Malignancies and patients receiving chemotherapy.
- Hypersensitivity to any active substances of the drug.
- Cases that received Ceftaroline prior to admission
