•1)bilateral implantation
•2)cataractous eyes with no comorbities
•3)regular corneal topography and corneal astigmatism
•4)preoperative corneal astigmatism of <0.75D , kappa <5 deg , angle alpha <6deg
•5)patient desiring spectacle independence and having realistic expectation
•6)availability ,willingness and sufficient cognitive awareness to comply with examination procedures
•7)signed informed consent

•1)active ocular disease in operative eye for example chronic uveitis ,proliferative diabetic retinopathy ,chronic glaucoma unresponsive to medication , corneal endothelial cell insufficiency
•2)subjects with any systemic disease that could increase operative risk or confound the outcome
•3)pregnant or lactating or pregnancy at the time of enrollment
•4)any patient who is taking part in another study involving ocular surgery
•5)significant irregular corneal astigmatism
•6)pupil abnormalities
