Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\)bilateral implantation
- •2\)cataractous eyes with no comorbities
- •3\)regular corneal topography and corneal astigmatism
- •4\)preoperative corneal astigmatism of \<0\.75D , kappa \<5 deg , angle alpha \<6deg
- •5\)patient desiring spectacle independence and having realistic expectation
- •6\)availability ,willingness and sufficient cognitive awareness to comply with examination procedures
- •7\)signed informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\)active ocular disease in operative eye for example chronic uveitis ,proliferative diabetic retinopathy ,chronic glaucoma unresponsive to medication , corneal endothelial cell insufficiency
- •2\)subjects with any systemic disease that could increase operative risk or confound the outcome
- •3\)pregnant or lactating or pregnancy at the time of enrollment
- •4\)any patient who is taking part in another study involving ocular surgery
- •5\)significant irregular corneal astigmatism
- •6\)pupil abnormalities
