To be eligible should be participant from the EPIDOSO cohort study; aged people more than 60 years old; Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) scored zero or half; respectively; no dementia and questionable dementia; both sexes.
Dementia diagnosed by trained gerontologist with Clinical Dementia Rating -CDR (CDR=1 is mild dementia, CDR=2 is moderate dementia and CDR=3 is severe dementia); depression (escala de depressão em idosos-GDR=5); gastrectomia; HIV positive; alcoholist; chronic renal failure; multiple sclerosis.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Assess dietary intake using 3 days 24 hour dietary recall and food frequency questionnaire. Limited studies of intervention for aged people focusing on diet were observed. Our study will be a innovative study. Difference in the dietary intake from baseline will be evaluate using linear regression model. <br>;Assess circulating concentrations of folate and vitamina B12 determined by microbiologic assay, homocysteine by HPLC, iron from colorimetric assay, total capacity for iron binding by calculation from iron and ferritin. Changes from the baseline will be calculated using linear regression models.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Assess knowledge about diet in the baseline and after each intervention activity. Questionnaire with folate, vitamin B12 and iron food sources and not to be asked to check correct food sources.
