Inclusion Criteria
ASA physical status Iââ?¬â??II,
Surgery in supine position under GA,
Duration of anaesthesia <2Hrs,
Exclusion Criteria
History of - preoperative sore throat or recent upper airway infection, oral surgeries, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,
Pregnant women,
Mallampati grade >II,
cervical spine disorder,
Patient on chronic medication (NSAID, Steroids),
Those who required more than one attempt at intubation.,
Known smoker
Time of intubation >15 seconds.
