Inclusion Criteria

1. Age >18 years

2. Diabetic patients controlled on treatment and belonging to ASA II

Exclusion Criteria

1. Past history of coronary artery disease

2. Patients on β blocker therapy

3. Patients unable to stand.

4. Pregnancy

5. Obvious anatomical deformities involving face, neck, palate (either congenital or traumatic).

6. Past History of difficult intubation
