Inclusion Criteria
- •ASA 1 and 2
- •patients undergoing elective surgery requiring general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. difficult airway with airway difficulty score \>8
- •2\. morbid obesity BMI \>35
- •3\. known airway pathology
- •4\. oropharyngeal surgeries
- •5\. patients at increased risk of aspiration
- •6\. previous upper GI surgeries
- •7\. known or anticipated difficult intubation or facemask ventilation
- •8\. coagulopathy or history of anticoagulant use
- •9\. cardiorespiratory or cerebrovascular disease
- •10\. cervical spine injuries
