Inclusion Criteria
1.ASA grade I and II,
2.non hypertensive and non diabetic
3.scheduled for surgery under general anesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
1.patients with known sensitivity to pregabalin,
2.seizure disorders, who were taking pregabalin or gabapentin,
3.history of drug or alcohol abuse,
4.history of chronic pain or daily intake of analgesics,
5.pregnant or breast-feeding females,
6.uncontrolled medical disease (diabetes mellitus and hypertension) and
7.impaired kidney or liver functions
8.hyperkalemia
9.increased intracranial and intraocular pressure
10.psychiatric patients
