Patients with signs and symptoms of Vataja Gridhrasi who previously underwent shodhana basti chikitsa in kala or yoga pattern.
Dwiguna parihara kala maintained before including the patient into the study
Age group 20-60yrs
SLR test angle 30o-70o
All subjects with unilateral or bilateral radiation of pain in the sciatica nerve distribution.
VAS between 3 â?? 7
History of spinal surgery and vertebral fracture.
Evidence of systemic diseases like uncontrolled diabetes, Hypertension, IHD etc
Clinical condition such as hyper sensitive skin, cardiac pace maker, pregnancy and lactating women etc
Established tumours/malignancy.
Motor weakness such as stroke, diabetic neuropathy.
Patients having back pain due to non-spinal causes will excluded e.g. UTI, gastrointestinal disease and uterine diseases like PID
VAS > 7 , VAS < 3
